Stone-milled unsifted whole wheat flour milled fresh on our family farm from hard red winter wheat grown here in western Kansas. This is a true whole-grain flour with all of the bran and germ left in for maximum flavor and nutrition.
Because it is unsifted and nutrient-dense, it bakes differently than refined white flour. Expect a heartier, denser loaf with more flavor and chew, not a light fluffy sandwich loaf like store-bought white bread.
The wheat we use for this flour is grown on our family's certified organic farm, but this flour itself is not currently sold as a certified organic product.
